Biodiversity Action Europe
Biodiversity Action Europe (BAE) is a youth-driven movement, passionate by biodiversity conservation & environmental protection.
BAE is rich in diversity: we all come from different backgrounds, from different countries; but we all want to defend the same cause: reversing biodiversity loss in Europe and beyond.

We seek transformative change through constructive dialogue: how? By empowering youths' voices. In this regard, we are chairing events and projects with our Umbrella members on biodiversity's thematic.

Recent Projects
BAE held the first roundtable of our new cycle on Biodiversity & Agriculture! Youth and Environment Europe (YEE)’s Scientific Advisor Ashton Melfor shared about his research on “Meadow Bird Conservation in Agricultural Lands: A Dutch Perspective” in an interactive and insightful presentation.
What followed was an engaging discussion on the importance of inclusive dialogue between conservationist NGOs, policy makers, and agricultural practitioners to ensure that the root of the issue, biodiversity decline, is discussed in a non-prejudiced way. We touched on important topics such as biodiversity financing for ecosystem services, as well as the role youth advocacy NGOs can play.
